Interests

Sergey's current research interests lie within two large themes such as Future Mobility and Environmental and Climate technologies and Digital Twins. Specifically, he is interested in development of novel numerical methods, data- and physics-driven analysis tools, and simulations across the scales/resolutions in External Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics, and Optimisation. Specific application areas include aeronautical engineering (conventional fixed-wing aircraft propulsion systems and Urban Air Mobility) as well as computational modelling of fluid dynamics problems, which occur in green energy generation and bio engineering processes.
