Interests

Fundamental studies of photophysical processes of molecular excitons, such as triplet-triplet annihilation, thermally activated delayed fluorescence, and room temperature phosphorescence. Designing and interpreting time-resolved and temperature-dependent emission/absorption spectroscopy of these materials, building on wide skills in laser spectroscopy. Parallel expertise in device fabrication and characterisation support the application of these materials in optoelectronic devices such as OLEDs.
