Research

dementia, ageing, neuroimaging, consciousness, information theory, Alzheimer's Disease

Interests

The two main current research areas of my lab are dementia, where in particular we study the neural basis of resilience to dementia symptoms, as well as using novel brain-scanning methods to boost early dementia diagnosis. In addition we explore information based neural markers to explore the brain-basis of consciousness and cognition. We tend to use information theory tools in order to explore both of these questions.

Previously I’ve researched a wide range of cognitive topics (working memory, attention, IQ, etc.) on normal and patient populations.
