Faculty of Science and Engineering Research Awards 2023

Meet some of our fantastic rising stars and find out about their world-leading research.

We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2023 research awards in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. We had some excellent nominations from which the panel have awarded five 'Research and Innovation Excellence Awards', one for each school; two 'Research Impact Awards', one for nascent and one for developed impact; and one 'Vice Principal's Award for Excellence and Collegiality in Research and Education'. The winners were presented with their awards by the Principal, Prof Colin Bailey, and Vice-Principal, Prof Wen Wang, at the Faculty's annual celebration event in December.
